When filling out your availability, you can create two different types of slots: available and blocked.
Available slots are times that you are available to work (and be booked) through BookAnyone. If you only work weekends, for example, you could create an available slot from 10am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday. You could also make this a weekly recurring event, so you don’t have to fill it out every weekend.
Blocked slots should ONLY be used on top of your existing available slots. They function as a way of blocking out certain specific times within your available times. If you want to block out your times during lunch, for example, you can, within an available slot, block out 11:30-12:30 for lunch. This prevents bookings from happening during that time, so you have a chance to eat.
Another use for blocked slots would be if you get booked by a client outside of BookAnyone. If they book you for 3pm-4pm, for example, you could create a blocked slot during that time to prevent someone on BookAnyone from booking you at the same time, which would cause a double booking.
